His footsteps echoed loudly in the vast corridors of the upper floor. Alexander hated this course, it was always like, as he would run his own execution. Whenever he had to talk toHIM, it seemed, that there would be no return as if it werehis last way. He was furious, beside himself. He repeatedlycrossed his plans. Again and again he came with instructions so that his plans to naught. Actually, he should have no fear of him, he thought. But he simply had too many connections in all directions. He reached the end of the corridor.

Seine Schritte hallten laut in den weiten Korridoren der oberen Etage. Alexander hasste diesen Gang, es war immer wie, als wuerde er zu seiner eigenen Hinrichtung laufen. Immer wenn er zu IHM musste, kam es ihm vor, als gaebe es keine Widerkehr, als waere es sein letzter Weg. Er war wuetend, ausser sich. Immer wieder kam er ihm dazwischen. Immer wieder kam er mit Anweisungen daher die seine Plaene zunichte machen. Eigentlich müsste er keine Angst vor Ihm haben, dachte er. Aber Er hatte einfach zuviele Verbindungen in alle Richtungen. Er erreichte das Ende des Gangs. .
